MSC Cruises is set to launch MSC World America in April 2025 – what the company is considering its most comprehensive cruising experience to date. The state-of-the-art MSC World America will sail the Caribbean for its inaugural season, and offers the perfect blend of luxury, innovation and exclusive experiences – ideal for every kind of traveller.
“New experiences await guests throughout MSC World America, and when it comes to bars, lounges as well as destinations to grab a sweet treat, we’ve worked hard to bring something truly unique to this groundbreaking ship,” says Bernhard Stacher, SVP, Shipboard Hospitality Operations, MSC Cruises. The new flagship will also be the first to feature seven on board districts designed to let guests of all ages choose their own holiday adventure and get the most out of their time on board.
With the largest MSC Yacht Club at sea, MSC World America is tailor-made for travellers who are looking for an exclusive boutique hotel experience, but still have access to a variety of big ship cruising experiences. Onboard MSC World America, its MSC Yacht Club is also the most luxurious at sea. And joining this private haven has its perks – priority embarkation and disembarkation, 24-hour butler and concierge service, gourmet dining in a private restaurant, drinks and WiFi and exclusive access to the top deck among them – with panoramic ocean views, a private pool, whirlpools and luxury cabanas.
“Across the ship, we’ve also enhanced the drink menus, with upscale cocktails, more bourbons, American-style beers and gin from craft American distilleries to elevate the experience and make sure guests find something perfect for every occasion,” says Stacher. MSC World America offers 13 high-end restaurants and dining venues, with a focus on fresh, premium ingredients, and 20 bars and lounges, featuring culinary offerings to satisfy every taste. A new addition, Paxos, serves up Greek cuisine and, as part of its exclusive partnerships, MSC has a new collaboration with Eataly to bring authentic Italian dining experiences at sea, making it the first and only Eataly at sea.
Beyond dining, the ship features a range of thrilling entertainment and exclusive experiences, from high-energy shows to intimate performances. “In a first for MSC Cruises, we will be debuting two brand-new lounge concepts – All-Stars Sports Bar, offering an authentic game-day atmosphere with all-American fare and bar games, and The Loft, a multi-purpose venue for comedy, karaoke and more,” says Stacher.
Of course there’s plenty of fun for all ages. MSC World America also offers sports innovative features like the Cliffhanger, the only over-water swing at sea, which gives thrill-seekers an exhilarating experience offering a unique perspective of the ocean. “One of the biggest innovations for MSC World America is The Harbour, part of the Family Aventura district, a brand-new revolutionary outdoor venue specially designed for kids and families to gather, play and relax together,” says William Monts de Oca Rivera, Head of Guest Experience Innovation. “It’s home to Cliffhanger – a state-of-the-art swing attraction 164 feet (50m) above the ocean that is going to bring a totally new dimension to the cruise experience.”
Speaking of the ocean, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, MSC’s exclusive private island in The Bahamas, is a port of call that’s included in every MSC World America itinerary. Relax on pristine beaches, swim in turquoise waters and enjoy the serenity of one of the most beautiful destinations in the Caribbean, and get a glimpse of the work MSC Cruises is doing to preserve and sustain ocean life.
